* Please note: Due to either dead list servers or dead links, most of you
did not receive the April 10 NetWeek or BITNET SERVERS until today. (Just
in case you were wondering why there are two issues in your mailbox).
* INTERACT@DTUPEV5A is a file server storing software for VAX/VMS sites
which use the JNET interface to BITNET. Users should note that the packages
stored on INTERACT require system privileges. The server will accept
commands sent by both mail and message.
The following commands are available from INTERACT:
CMD Ġcmdċ - Executes a single DCL command
DIR Ġnameċ - Lists the contents of SOFT directory Ġnameċ
HELP - Prints this info
HELP SOFT - Gives information on available software
SOFT Ġnameċ - Sends software as described in HELP SOFT
STAT - Gives information about current INTERACT users
The following software packages are available:
INTERACT - The BITNET remote login facility for VAXes running JNET
PSEUDOTERM - VAX Pseudo terminal software
