  * UBSERVE@UBVMSC has been moved  and renamed  VMSSERV@UBVMSD  (note the new
  node).  VMSSERVE stores software and files of interest to people on Digital
  Equipment VAX systems running  the VMS  operating system.  VMSSERVE accepts
  commands in  the same  format as UBSERVE, although there are some additions
  to permit the transfer of executable files.  Thanks to Mark McCann for this
  update.


  * LISTSERV News:  The list servers at DEARN and DBNGMD12 have been modified
  to act as name  servers using  the /WHOIS command.  The LOCSOFT Filelist is
  no longer  available at  EB0UB011 but  will appear on  DEARN in the  coming
  weeks.  A new list server on the scene is LISTSERV@BINGVMB.  Thanks to Jose
  Maria Blasco and Jim Blake for these updates.


  * NetCamp is a gathering  for people on BITNET and other networks who enjoy
  camping,  hiking,  or canoeing.  The  likely location for  such an event is
  upstate New York.  If you are interested, fill  out the  following form and
  send it to Jeff Robinson, IP60583@PORTLAND.

  * Marc Shannon  has set  up a  game  server for those  of you with  nothing
  better  to  try.  LOTTERY@DRYCAS  is  running  a special  lottery-type game
  available to all BITNET  users who can send  interactive messages.  LOTTERY
  allows users to bet any number of points (up to their maximum, which starts
  at 2000) and they can then win in three different ways.

  Anybody interested in finding out more about LOTTERY can  send a message to
  LOTTERY@DRYCAS asking for INFO.  For example:
